It is clearly written. It covers all topics which should be taught in a modern Earth Science classroom. The content is up-to date. The chapter introductions useful. The content is relevant to students and to general readers. The activities are useful. The chapter questions are thought provoking. The reading level is appropriate. The photos and illustrations are helpful and well done. My only complaint would be that there are no color illustrations. We just ordered our first set of one-hundred.
