Timothy E. Parker, "Crosswords for Seniors For Dummies"

Ebook Download | Timothy E. Parker, "Crosswords for Seniors For Dummies" | This book was intended for my 91 year old mother who is a word search fanatic. I only wanted to glance at it, but ended up reading it and working the puzzles. I'm afraid this book may be a bit much for Mom, who has never done crosswords, but it's just right for me! I have to admit that the chapter which included crosswords as a means to sharpen the mind is what got me going. Refreshing my basic skills in the beginning of the book was quick; the clues are fun and interesting, the skill level progressive. Like many my age, I don't think of myself as a "senior", but the fact is, I remember ERMA Bombeck, "My Friend FLICKA", and that the Star Ship Enterprise travels at WARP speed. The New York Times puzzles are out of my league, but by the time I finish this book, I may just try again.
