The section on the pelvis and acetabulum fractures are the essence of the whole book. The main disadvantages of this work are about fractures involving spine, wrist, and hand. The section on spinal trauma loses its focus. This book omits the management of the wrist and hand fractures, a sad thing. The management for proximal humerus fracture is quite old fashioned. The AO had developed many new implants recently but barely mentioned in this book. Many proofreading errors will be encoutered but they won't lessen the value of this great work. A great buy for clinician, and junior resident. This book is very easy to read and help yougrasp the essence of the AO phiolosophy in short time.
